6 5 GENERAL FRASER VALLEY SUPPORTS CRISI S L INE S Brydge Line Toll-Free: 1-866-458-5500 24/7 emergency phone service to speak with a lawyer if arrested, detained, or under active investigation by the police or another law enforcement agency for a criminal offense (if you have not yet been charged). FRASER Health Crisis Line Toll-Free: 1-877-820-7444 Provides immediate, free, and confidential emotional support, crisis intervention and community RESOURCE information to people of all ages 24 hours a day, every day.

7 Health Canada s Indian Residential School Survivors Support and Crisis Line Toll-Free: 1-866-925-4419 Provides support for former Residential School students. Access emotional and crisis referral services by calling the 24-Hour National Crisis Line. KUU-US Crisis Line Society Toll-Free: 1-800-588-8717 A 24hr crisis service that assists Aboriginal people within the Province of British Columbia. Suicide Crisis Line Network of BC Toll-Free: 1-800-784-2433 Provides province-wide access to local suicide prevention and intervention services.

8 Callers are referred to their local crisis line for additional and ongoing support and information on community resources. United Way s Crisis and Caring Line Toll-Free: 1-888-852-9099 Crisis phone lines and referrals in the Abbotsford area. Works from a Christian perspective to give empathetic and compassionate listening, as well as emotional support in a crisis. Youth in BC s Crisis Centre 604-872-3311 24hr crisis centre for youth, online crisis intervention ( ) and suicide prevention for age 29 and under.

9 Website is 24hrs, live chat from 12:00pm-1:00am daily. 6 HEAL TH I NFORM ATION & REFERRAL SERV ICES 310 Mental Health Support Dial Toll-Free: 310-6789 Access to emotional support, information and resources specific to mental health. BC 211 (United Way) Dial 211 Provides free, confidential, multilingual information and referral for a wide range of social, community, and government services. This includes shelter and street help. BC Bereavement Helpline Toll-Free: 1-877-779-2223 Provides information, resources, and referral services for bereaved and caregivers.

10 BC Healthy Kids Program (Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation) Toll-Free: 1-866-866-0800 (Press 4 then press 2) Helps low-income families with the costs of basic dental care and prescription eyewear for their children under 19 who receive MSP assistance through the Ministry of Health Services. BC Health Guide - BC Nurse Line Toll-Free: 1-866-215-4700 Access to nurses 24/7 who can answer your questions. BC Partners for Mental Health and Addiction Information Toll-Free: 1-800-661-2121 Provides information and referrals for mental health or addiction issues for all ages.
