Send Letter of Demand 2. Get detailed information from client and draft Summons and Particulars of the client s Claim 3. Hand Summons in at Magistrates Court and wait for Summons to be issued 4. Get Summons from Magistrates Court, hand Summons to Sheriff, and wait for Sheriff to serve Summons 5. Summons served on Defendant who has 10 working days to inform us whether they want to defend the claim 6a. Defendant does not inform us that they want to defend the claim 6b.

2 Defendant informs us that they want to defend the claim 7a. We put in an application for Default Judgment to the Magistrates Court, along with an application to get a Warrant of Execution, on the basis of which we can send the Sheriff out to attach goods to the value of your claim. 7b.
