10 6 July, 2018 ICCB Online New Teacher Orientation Available Year Round Introduction to EBRI (Evidence-based Reading Instruction) for Teachers 3 Professional Development Hours Hours/Fee The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) recognizes the important role that strong basic skills play in an adult learner s potential to successfully complete a high school equivalency certificate, transition to post-secondary education, and enter the workforce. This online course serves as an introduction to EBRI, the focus of reading instruction required by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). The course is divided into six sections that include short presentations, videos, and downloadable resources.
