Aimed at deploying a variety of Flash based training courseware and PDF document materials to flight crew, cabin crew and other airline personnel, GALAXY MOBILE is the offline deployment and management platform for iPad, Android, PC and Mac systems.

In the following document, a full student level user guide of how to use the MOBILE Training System will be outlined in detail. 3|P a g e guide OUTLINE. After downloading the Pelesys crewpad applications, crewpad Player and crewpad , launch the interface by selecting either application. This step-by-step guide will provide instruction on each of the following topics: Activation Login Record Syncing Training Course Locations Taking a Course CBT Player PDF Reader Taking Exams Logout 4|P a g e crewpad ACTIVATION. Before you can use the crewpad app, you need to find out the Activation Code for your specific learning center.

This code has probably already been provided to you by some sales or support staff member of Pelesys , or your organization. Enter the code into the box and press Submit Activation Code once. Wait a moment, and if the submission was successful, you should be presented with the login screen. If your learning center has specified a specific background for the app, it will be applied now. You only have to activate your crewpad Manager once, and then it will save it locally. If you wish to activate your crewpad with a different learning center, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the crewpad Manager app, and then repeat the activation process with a different Activation Code.

5|P a g e MOBILE TRAINING LOGIN. To log in, enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD in the appropriate fields and click the LOGIN button to proceed. Note: crewpad login credentials are identical to the online learning Management System. 6|P a g e SYNC YOUR RECORDS. After logging in, the application will synchronize your enrollment records automatically. You will be prompted with the following screen: Once the sync is completed, all of your past training records will have been loaded into the system, as well as any new training materials that pertain to you if a new enrollment has been created for your specific user.

A manual synchronization may be triggered at any time by pressing the SYNC button, located in the top right corner of the application. 7|P a g e FINDING YOUR COURSES. You can find your Enrolled Courses and Reference materials by selecting the appropriate application tab. Enrolled Courses are mandatory learning items that are required, recorded, and tracked for completion. Each course must be completed in a predefined order and may also be assessed with exams. References are items or courses that are not tracked for completion, and are available at all times for review purposes. 8|P a g e TAKING A COURSE.

To view a course, simply select the desired course title from your ENROLLED COURSES or REFERENCES sections, respectively. Then, Launch the desired lesson content by selecting the appropriate LAUNCH button. Note: All lesson content must be downloaded before viewing. If course content is not present on the device, the DOWNLOAD button will appear in place of the LAUNCH button. If you switch apps during the download of new content, your crewpad downloads will pause until you return. 9|P a g e CBT PLAYER. Let's start with the CBT player menu page: Each course is divided into lessons, each covering a different topic Note: Please always use the EXIT button provided on the CBT player when you want to exit the course.

This will ensure correct training status can be recorded by the system. To navigate through the lessons, you will use the controls at the bottom of the screen: Note: Gesture controls may also be used to navigate between pages. The most used button is the RIGHT ARROW. The color of this is black during the presentation or while audio is being presented. 10 | P a g e When the information on the screen and audio narration is complete, the arrow then turns solid white. Once the button has turned white, you can proceed to the next page. To the right of the left arrow is the PAUSE button. By selecting this, it allows you to freeze both the screen's audio and visual presentation.

To the right of the pause button is the REPEAT button. This allows you to repeat the current screen in use. To the left of the pause button is the LEFT ARROW. It allows you to reverse direction and view and review previous screens. The EXIT button is to the left of the left arrow. Selecting EXIT will exit you from the course and bring you back to the main page. Note: Please always use the EXIT button provided on the CBT player when you want to exit the course. This will ensure correct training status can be recorded by the system. 11 | P a g e To the right of the EXIT button is the NAVIGATION button. This allows you to jump to any previously accessed pages.

Note: You will not be able to advance through to the end of the presentation without first having viewed each screen. Additional commands, including the ability to mute audio, hide audio text, leave comments, view reference materials, and view a glossary of terms are all available after selecting the OPTIONS button. The full green check indicates that you have finished and completed the whole lesson. The half green check will indicate that you have not finished and completed the lesson. Each time you exit the course, the system will record the last page you completed. Upon re-entry to the course, you will be provided with the following option: If you select YES, you will return to exact same page of the CBT your previously completed.

If you select NO, you will return to the CBT menu page. 12 | P a g e PDF READER. For courses that contain PDF manuals that include vital course information, the crewpad will allow you to use your PDF reader of choice to view the document. Just like a CBT lesson, the PDF document must be launched from the course menu. Note: If you are using a newer version of the crewpad Manager, installed from the Apple App Store, the built-in PDF reader is no longer included. When you launch a PDF, you will be presented with the device's apps that are capable of loading the PDF, so go ahead and choose one. Likewise, the Bookmarks & Notes screen has been removed until further notice.
