Gathered Meter Reporting on Canon Devices - Print Tracker

1 Print Tracker Reporting on Canon Devices Unlike most other types of Devices , Canon Devices can report many different counters. Here is a short list of some of the common Canon Meter types: 101: Total 1 (does NOT account for oversize or duplex) 229: Copy (Full Color + Single Color/Large). 102: Total 2 (does account for oversize and duplex) 230: Copy (Full Color + Single Color/Small). 103: Total (Large) 301: Print (Total 1). 104: Total (Small) 303: Print (Large). 108: Total (Black 1) (NO oversize or duplex) 304: Print (Small). 109: Total (Black 2) (includes oversize or duplex) 321: Print (Full Color + Single Color /Large). 112: Total (Black/Large) 322: Print (Full Color + Single Color/Small). 113: Total (Black/Small) 401: Copy + Print (Full Color/Large). 120: Total (Full Color/Large) 402: Copy + Print (Full Color/Small).

Print Tracker pulls as many of the meters listed above as it can from Canon Devices . NOTE Canon Devices may require initial setup to supply the meters desired. Administrators can configure Print Tracker to return certain meters for the mono and color counters. Adjust the seek preference from the Advanced Settings dialog in either the collection software or Admin. The default settings shown below instruct Print Tracker to look for a 109 Meter for mono, 108 if the 109 is not available, 102 if neither 109 nor 108 are available, and finally a 101 Meter .

3 Print Tracker looks for a 124 Meter for color and then a 125 Meter if the 124 Meter is not available: Please note: 102 = 109 + 124 and 124 = 102 109 101 = 108 + 125 and 125 = 101 108. Canon meters are shown in the Meter Viewer as reported by the device. You can see all collected Canon meters by right clicking on a device within the Meter Viewer and selecting Show Canon meters '. To include all Canon fields in emailed Meter reports, choose report type 11 to load the appropriate template. Canon counters appear in column '1' and a column '2' in emailed Print Tracker reports.
