Summary of the Summer 2022 Assessment Arrangements Remove requirements for: (i) a written statement that centres have given students the opportunity to undertake 2 days of fieldwork (ii) students to answer questions in the exam relating to their own fieldwork experience We would still encourage students to conduct their own fieldwork, if possible, as this develops skills to support students progression within the subject, and the content related to fieldwork and the enquiry process still needs to be delivered and will be assessed in unfamiliar contexts within the exam. paper 2 - The Human Environment will include optionality. Students answer questions on: o Topic 4: Changing cities AND EITHER o Topic 5: Global development OR o Topic 6: Resource management (this topic has optional questions).
