1 GEMECS COMPANY PROFILE INTRODUCTION GEMECS (Pty) Ltd is a medium-sized geological COMPANY that renders geological and mining consulting services to the mining industry. GEMECS is a South African COMPANY , with its head office situated in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Its team of consultants have extensive experience working with a large range of commodities in South Africa and the Southern African region. These commodities include mainly coal, the platinum group of metals, manganese, chrome, potash and mineral sands. The experience of GEMECS consultants extends over a wide array of fields within the geological and mining industries.

2 On the geological side this includes target generation, prospecting permit applications, exploration management, diamond drilling core logging, core sampling, underground and surface mapping, channel sampling, geological databases, geological resource and ore body modelling, project management and grade control. On the mining side our services include mine design and scheduling services. GEMECS also has considerable expertise in implementing conceptual studies, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, due diligence studies, review and auditing of geological and mining models, review and auditing of geological databases, geological and mining report writing and competent person s reports (SAMREC, JORC and CANADIAN NI43-101) in both the geological and mining spheres.

GEMECS is directed by its owners Nico Denner & Kobus Dippenaar who are both active geological consultants.
