2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The consultant will support the coordination and implementation of programs, projects and activities related to Social Inclusion at the national, sub-regional and regional levels. Specifically, implement various projects/activities, advise on inclusion issues, as well as research, compile and analyze relevant information; prepare proposals, work plans, budgets and financial and narrative reports and provide administrative/logistical support. JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Responsible to advise on inclusion issues, including technical inputs to strengthen institutional capabilities to mainstream social inclusion into policies and programs in OAS Member States, in accordance with OAS Mandates;. Responsible to manage relevant programs and projects and coordinate related activities needed to meet donor requirements, including progress reports, final reports, and monitoring reports for donors and other stakeholders.

3 Assist in the gathering of specific country information to be used for the development of capacity building activities;. Provide support in research, drafting and reviewing documents including but not limited to reports, journals, and articles focused on a variety of issues (technical, policy, among others);. Contribute to the formulation of GS/OAS social inclusion objectives and priorities aligned with Member States priorities;. Organize and participate in country visits and other country-specific activities in support of the development of action plans, workshops and other related outreach activities of the Department regarding the implementation of social inclusion related resolutions, declarations and projects. Provide support to the development of post-mission reports and needs assessments, including the revision of potential areas of opportunity and improvement for specific projects and activities.

4 Assist with monitoring the progress of relevant social inclusion projects and ensure metrics are met based on established benchmarks and objectives for the projects;. Provide support to the development of project proposals and other initiatives related to social inclusion issues in the Americas. Provide financial and administrative support to Programs implemented by the Department, including tasks that are part of the budget cycle: planning, preparation, revisions and budget execution, monitoring expenditures and assisting in the preparation of related reports The consultant will be responsible for liaising with the Administrative Management Section regarding relevant projects ( vendors, requisitions, RBCS contracts, travel arrangements, conference services, travel plans, payments requests, transfer of expenditures, PO closing, award extensions, and financial reports, among others).

5 Liaise with OAS travel agency to make travel reservations for participants, experts, counterparts, and other relevant parties, as OAS National Offices, in relation to the coordination and execution of the aforementioned activities and on-the-ground logistics;. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE. Essential: First University Degree (Bachelor's) in political science, economic and legal studies, human rights, development, law, or social sciences and at least four (4) years of experience in Social Inclusion related work OR Advanced University Degree (Master's) in one of the fields listed above and 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in Project Management, Donor and Stakeholder Relations, Report Writing, International Public Policy, field work Experience working on social inclusion, social development, equity and vulnerable groups related issues at the international level.

6 Experience in multilateral institutions and working with public sector, private sector, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders. Fluent in English and Spanish. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in teams and deliver results in the short term. Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and other applicable software to the work environment. Desirable: Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is desired.
