FEDERAL CONTRACTS GES has managed several Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), On-Call, and Task Order contracts dating back to our founding in 2002. Federal clients include the General Services Administration (GSA); Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); National Institutes of Health (NIH); Department of Homeland Security; Department of Veterans Affairs (VA); National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA); and the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL); to name a few. We are organized to respond to small projects with fast schedules, as well as larger complex projects. We are familiar with all relevant Federal requirements and processes. Provided below are a few examples of IDIQ, on-call, and/or task order contracts that GES has provided services on: Construction Management Services for the Mid-Atlantic Region, Public Buildings Service, General Services Administration Region 3, Various Locations: GES is part of a comprehensive team providing pre-design/programming phase, design phase, procurement phase and construction phase services.
8 The contract is used to support both new construction and renovation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, including federal office buildings, federal courthouses, border stations, laboratories, and warehouses. Land Ports of Entry Intrusion Detection Facilities Construction Management, General Services Administration (GSA) Region 3, Various Locations: GES is serving as part of a comprehensive team on a task order contract to provide program/construction management services to the GSA in support of the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection for the planning and execution technology and infrastructure upgrades at ports of entry and other government facilities nationwide. Projects included: San Luis II Land Port of Entry and Champlain Land Port of Entry. IDC Contract for Value ENGINEERING (VE) Services, US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, Various Locations: As part of a comprehensive value ENGINEERING team, GES provided MEP & FP VE services to the Army Corps of Engineers.
9 The objective of each VE study is to make recommendations to enhance operations, reduce cost, preserve the environment, save energy, maintain safety and simplify maintenance and design. Projects have included training facilities, research/laboratory, administrative, and child care. Representative tasks have included: Letterkenny Army Depot, PA; US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), Ft. Detrick, MD; US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Shoothouse, Ft. AP Hill; Child Development Center, Ft. Myer; and 902nd Administration and Operations Center, Ft. Meade, MD. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SCHEDULE Contract No. GS-10-F-0160Y Industrial Group: 00 CORP Project Experience Page 4 IDC Contract for Program/Construction Management Support Services, US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, Various Locations: GES provided the USACE, Baltimore District with support staff augmentation services, working in multiple military locations district-wide.
10 All work accomplished through this contract was on a negotiated lump-sum task order basis. The program required a wide range of administrative, technical, and construction management skill sets as the program ramped-up and ramped-down based on congressionally mandated BRAC deadlines. We utilized our in-house design and construction SMEs. These SMEs included a design manager, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, piping and plumbing designers, fire/life safety designers, budget analysts, timekeepers, construction inspectors, administrative support, document control technicians and commissioning agents. On several occasions, USACE requested GES to employ specific (named) SMEs for short-term assignments to meet special project requirements. Task Order Contracts, US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Various Locations: GES is serving as the prime contractor on two worldwide task order contracts for the USACE, Huntsville ENGINEERING Center: Medical Facilities Architect-Engineer Services: Prime contractor for a task order contract for the new construction, upgrade, maintenance and repair of medical facilities and infrastructure systems worldwide.
