If nosuch instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot and wash PPE separately from other Controls When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a man-ner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker ProtectionStandard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides (40 CFR )(d)(4-6),the handler PPE requirements may be reduced or modified as specifiedin the WPS. Mixers and loaders supporting aerial applications arerequired to use closed systems. The closed system must be used in amanner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker ProtectionStandard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR (d)(4-6)].When using the closed system, the mixers and loaders PPE require-ments may be reduced or modified as specified in the Safety RecommendationsUsers should: Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and beforeeating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Do notapply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or tointertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and runoff maybe hazardous to terrestrial and aquatic plants in neighboring areas. Donot contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rin-sate. Mixing/Loading InstructionsCare must be taken when using this product to prevent back-siphoninginto wells, spills or improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mix-tures, or or antisiphoning devices must be used on all mixingand/or irrigation Elite Herbicide may not be mixed or loaded within 50 feet ofany wells (including abandoned wells and drainage wells), sinkholes,perennial or intermittent streams and rivers, and natural or impoundedlakes and reservoirs.

6 This setback does not apply to properly capped orplugged abandoned wells and does not apply to impervious pads orproperly diked mixing/loading that involve mixing, loading, rinsing, or washing of this prod-uct into or from pesticide handling or application equipment or contain-ers within 50 feet of any well are prohibited unless conducted on animpervious pad constructed to withstand the weight of the heaviest loadthat may be positioned on or moved across the pad. Such a pad shallbe designed and maintained to contain any product spills or equipmentleaks, container or equipment rinse or wash water, and rainwater thatmay fall on the pad. Surface water shall not be allowed to either flowover or from the pad, which means the pad must be self-contained. Thepad shall be sloped to facilitate material removal. An unroofed pad shallbe of sufficient capacity to contain at a minimum 110% of the capacityof the largest pesticide container or application equipment on the pad that is covered by a roof of sufficient size to completely excludeprecipitation from contact with the pad shall have a minimum contain-ment capacity of 100% of the capacity of the largest pesticide containeror application equipment on the pad.

7 Containment capacities asdescribed above shall be maintained at all times. The above specificminimum containment capacities do not apply to vehicles when deliver-ing pesticide shipments to the mixing/loading site. States may have ineffect additional requirements regarding wellhead setbacks and opera-tional containment. Product must be used in a manner that will prevent back siphoningin wells, spills or improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mix-tures or advisory: The active ingredients in this product areknown to leach through soil into groundwater under certain conditionsas a result of agricultural use. Use of this product in areas where soilsare permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may resultin groundwater contamination. Do not use on coarse soils classified as sand, which have less than1% organic matter. Surface water advisory:This product can contaminate surface waterthrough spray drift. Under some conditions, this product may also havea high potential for runoff into surface water (primarily via dissolution inrunoff water), for several to many months post-application.

9 This Standard con-tains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms,forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agriculturalpesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination,notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specificinstructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this labelabout personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entryinterval. These requirements only apply to uses of this product thatare covered by the Worker Protection Standard. Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during therestricted entry interval (REI) of 24 : if the product is soil-incorporated, the Worker ProtectionStandard, under certain circumstances, allows workers to enter thetreated area if there will be no contact with anything that has Protective Equipment (PPE) required for early entry totreated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standardand that involves contact with anything that has been treated, suchas plants, soil, or water is: Coveralls over short-sleeve shirt and shortpants, chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof materialsuch as polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride, and chemical-resistantfootwear plus AND DISPOSAL Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and Storage Store product in original container only, away from other pesticides,fertilizer, food or feed.

Triplerinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Triple rinseas follows: (For containers greater than 5 gallons) Empty the remain-ing contents into application equipment or a mix tank.
