2 The following is recommended as a minimum:- Grade 1 Options A, B, C : one visit per year Grade 2 Option X only : one visit per year Grade 2 & 3 Options A, B, C, D either:- a) 2 visits per year; or b) one site visit plus one remote system check per year Grade 4 Options A, B, C, D : two visits per year Note: Remote system checks will only be carried out with written agreement and when the location has been specified. BS4737 Systems Intruder alarm system installed to this British Standard will be continued to be maintained in line with the previously documented procedures for BS4737 prior to the 1st October 2005. Note: If the system has gained loss of Police response, the system will require upgrading to PD6222 : 2004/DD243 : 2004 compliance to re-apply for cover/attendance. Closed Circuit Television Systems NACP20 Appendix D ( ) The systems should be inspected at least once per annum or in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
3 Where applicable the inspections should be carried out in conjunction with a checklist, or schedule of equipment and should include examinations for loosening or corrosion of support and fixings . Access Control Systems NACP30 Part 2 ( ) Preventative Maintenance visits to the protected premises shall be made by a representative of the Maintenance company during or before the twelfth calendar month following the month of commissioning or of the previous Preventative visit . The service visit will be undertaken by Protec trained dedicated engineers in conjunction with the current system compliant checklist.
