Devon County Councillor Tiverton East I was delighted that the new A361 junction was completed on time in June and that traffic is flowing normally for the summer.

10 The contract for the next phase of the resurfacing through to Junction 27 has been awarded to Mildren Construction and work is expected to commence in September. In the meantime, preliminary improvement scheme layouts for improvements to the North Devon Link Road have been approved by Devon County Council's Cabinet. Following agreement from councillors, a full business case for the scheme will now be prepared to be submitted to the Department for Transport (DfT). Devon County Council made a successful bid for 83 million of Local Majors Funding from the DfT in May which will go towards the 93 million scheme.
