In 2005, Kevin was hired full-time by the department as a Coordinator of Disability Services and continues to serve in thisrole todayhelping provide supports and services to students with disabilities attending the past 25 years, Kevin has served on several boards including Independent Living Nova Scotia , Teamwork Cooperative, Canadian Paraplegic Association, and Sail Able Nova Scotia .

7 Through professional and personal endeavors, Kevin has become well-versed in issues that affect persons with cross-disabilities. This includes areas such as education, employment , accessibility, and , Kevin is the president of Sail Able Association of Nova Scotiaa nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sailing opportunities for persons with disabilities.
