Maintains constantcommunication with school administrators and parents concerning Special Needs Transportation. Dailycoordination of all Special Needs bus routes to ensure that they are all running as scheduled with acertified driver and monitor. Keep and update all route information pertaining to the Texas EducationAgency (TEA) state reports for Hays CISD Transportation :Education/Certification:Bachelor s Degree (Preferred).Valid Texas Commercial Driver License with Passenger and School Bus Texas School Bus Driver school diploma or pass school bus driver physical examination for physical and emotional be able to read, write and speak Drug/Alcohol Awareness Program Association for Pupil Transportation Official certification Instructor Certification (Preferred).

3 24 ridership of bus routes and create new routes when ridership list for each route for TEA state guidance to lead drivers in the planning, coordinating, and accomplishment of on-goingrouting all extended school year ARD meetings when the Operations Specialist and Lead drivers on day to day areas within special education that are non-compliant with federal and state regulationsand guidelines for transporting students with and implement an effective training program for existing as well as new specialeducation drivers and and implement annual Special Needs In-Service and maintain top standards for all special needs and develop a continuing education program as needed for updating special needstransportation continuing education conferences and seminars on special education issues to ensurethe department remains in compliance with all federal and state guidelines as well as uses bestpractice for all safety up and facilitate annual training sessions for CPR/AED and First Aid as well as traffic and weather daily bus
