The Grandravine Special Program is a community based Hockey program for the developmentally challenged, and although we focus on Hockey our ultimate objectives go beyond sports.

4 We try to fulfill for these athletes the same dreams and aspirations that others in the community have ready access to. We do this by keeping our registration fees as low as possible. The registration fees for the 2010-2011 season remains $ The $ registration fee won t even cover the cost of ice time. In addition there is the cost of insurance, uniforms, photos, team banquet, trophies, equipment, tournament fees, team travel and more. Our teams are travelling to Boston this year and to London, England in 2012. We are appealing to the generosity of sponsors and donors such as you to make this program accessible to all challenged individuals.

5 You can be assured that every dollar that you contribute to the program goes directly to the athletes because we are run entirely by volunteers. On Friday July 22nd, 2011 we will be hosting our 7th Annual golf Tournament in aid of Grandravine Special Program. In addition to our Hockey program, proceeds from this golf tournament were used to help fund soccer, basketball and softball. For the past 6 years this golf tournament has been organized by Carmelina Corvinelli along with Matthew Ciccotelli and the invaluable help of Pat Raso of Coro Electric. Carmelina has decided to step aside from the organization of the tournament but will continue to support and promote this event along with Matthew and Pat.
