3 Kington is the starting point for the first two sections and Leominster for the last leg, with transfers included. It is certainly a programme with a difference for 2018. Lots of goodwalks over beautiful countryside interleaved with a cycle ride, thetwenty-miler through South HEREFORDSHIRE which was fully booked lastyear, the chance to learn and practise your map reading skills in realtime with guidance on hand, walking art explained by Jess Allen or join poet Jean Atkin from the Ledbury Poetry Festival (29th June to 8th July 2018) walking through ancient woodland.
4 There s even an opportunity to follow Phil Rickman, creator of Merrily Watkins, Advisoron the Paranormal, in the HEREFORDSHIRE borderlands, as he discussessome Hereford locations from the books. Kentchurch Court has opened its gardens; ancient and modern cider orchards plus a Cider Museum tour; walks around Croft Castle with a private tour of the walled garden; turnpike roads, drovers roads, a Roman road. Storytelling as you walk through old estates; the ancientlandscapes explained by a geologist or through an app on smartphoneor tablet that helps you to observe the rocks encountered en route; a cider tribute to the Solstice.

6 For most walks, walking boots/shoes are essential. Carry sufficient water for the length of the walk. Carry both sun protection and wet weather protection. RefundsThe booking fee - per adult per walk - is non-refundable. If the booking includes additional payment for transport or a meal, we willtry to re-sell your tickets provided you notify us of cancellation no later than21 days in advance of the walk date.
8 However, our own unsold tickets willtake priority. A administration fee will be charged per ticket cancellations within 21 days of the walk will not be refunded. Please inform us of any cancellation as soon as possible since many of the walkshave a waiting list.
