Dutch rabbits have a rich history in the Mid-Atlantic region. Many years ago, the Eastern Dutch Club had members from all regions of the eastern sea board. The Eastern Dutch Club was an active club in the 1950 s thru the 1990 s. That club disbanded in 2000. For a brief period of time in the late 1990 s and very early 2000 s the Dutch breed was in decline in our area.

2 A small group of dedicated Breeders joined together in the mid 2000 s to form the Chesapeake Regional Dutch Breeders Association . With the vision of that small group, the club has grown and now has membership that represent the New England States and as far south as North Carolina. The group is active and the Dutch Breed is once again a strongly represented breed throughout our region. The members of the CRDBA have been working very hard over the past 3 years to organize an outstanding NDS. It is our hope that you come to join us at the 2012 NDS. We hope you fi nd the event one of the most outstanding in recent years. The venue is a huge expo center, in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. I hope that we can provide you with a memorable NDS. Bring your Dutch to Pa.
