About this Release These Release Notes cover Storage Advisor New features and enhancements Storage Advisor includes the following new features and enhancements: Support for new Storage systems: Virtual Storage Platform G1500 and F1500. Support for capacity saving, using controller-based compression and deduplication. Awareness of cascade configuration of HTI pairs (snap on snap) (VSP G1000/G1500/F1500).

4 Enhanced LUN path management, enabling reuse of host groups and manual editing of LUN paths. Awareness of global-active device (GAD) configuration. Users can view GAD pairs as an additional type or replication technology. Enhanced integration with Storage Navigator. Tier reporting on HDT pools. Support for onboarding of NAS 4-node clusters (GAD Enhanced for NAS). Multi-user collaboration is supported for the following operations: o Disks: Setting as free or spare. o Parity groups: Creation, initialization, compression, and deletion. o Pools: Creation, updating, deletion.
