2 Thumb through the hymnal and find your favorites! We will then have a wonderful worship service at 11am followed by a covered dish luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Over the years, the Lord has sent many faithful and gifted pastors to carry on the visions of Trinity United Methodist Church. This church has been blessed with dedicated pastors who are passionate about sharing God's love, each offering his/her own unique approach to worship and administration, but each seeking to add value and strength to the congregation. We will celebrate the ministries of our former pastors during worship at this special homecoming service. So, be thinking about how these pastors have impacted your life and your faith. Pastors and family members of pastors, you would bless us if you could be with us on this special day. We appreciate all that you have done for this community of faith. homecoming will be an exciting day filled with good singing, God's Word, preaching and lots of fun, food, and fellowship.

3 There may also be a couple of surprises along the way. The Nurture Committee would like you to write down your thoughts about What Trinity Means to Me and either drop it in the offering plate prior to homecoming , email it to the church, or mail it to the church office. We want to collect stories about the impact that Trinity has made over the decades. We want to hear your story! We also want to know about your fond memories of the Trinity church family. This year's celebration will be in honor of Betsy Overstreet who served Trinity faithfully for decades as our secretary, youth director, and program director. She made such an impact on homecoming Trinity UMC in the past, so we thought it would be an appropriate tribute to her to celebrate homecoming in her memory this year. So, come ready with a Betsy story or make one of her special covered dish creations for our homecoming lunch! If you are unable to be with us on this special Sunday, we hope that you will be in prayer for this celebration.

4 Please send us a note and let us know how you are doing! Please participate by sending us a story of your journey of faith that happened here at Trinity . You are an important part of the family of God here at Trinity . We thank God for all the people across the centuries who have been a part of our community of faith, hope, and love! Looking forward to another 134 years of ministry, Rev.
