If the language mode is set to EN, the characters you type would be in English. You type a Khmer word by hitting the keys in the sequence that you spell out the word. We call this You Type as You Spell (YTYS, pronounced it is ) rule. To explain this process, let me say in Khmer . - CA n M b & g Shift-space x j J , KH n M b % g Shift-space x space j J Now would you type ?

9 Remember YTYS rule: - - . With a little practice, you ll master this very quickly. And if you typed Khmer using those legacy, non- Khmer - Unicode fonts before, you d agree with us that this is a faster and better way to type Khmer .
