1 When you are ready to put Flex Pipe to use,follow these instructions for determiningthe length to cut the pipe. NOTE: All flexiblemetal tubing is measured fully the length ( X") of pipe neededfor your application by measuring the gapbetween the two pipes you intend to to Measure :Walker Flex PipeHow to order , Measure and CutAllow a 3" overlap for each end(add 6" to the measurement from above).This is the length ( Y") of Flex Pipe distance needed from the far right sideinward. Wrap area to be cut with duct a marker to draw a cut guide on the Pipe is now ready to be cut. Cut throughthe tape. Remove tape from Flex Pipe before your usage needs. Flex Pipe is soldin a variety of lengths, including precut lengths range from 1" to 6" in to the chart on the reverse side todetermine your desired part by part number, not by the measuring and cutting, keep the open sideof the Flex Pipe to your right.
2 To determine theopen end, turn the end of the pipe toward youand look for the rings to wrap on to order :IMPORTANT:LengthX" + 6" = Y"X"Y"OpenClosedThere are three ways to cut Flex a method that suits your SAW: For best results, use a 1/16"wide blade. Make sure the Flex Pipe hasthe open side facing to the right. Align andsecure pipe so the cut guide lines up withthe Chop Saw blade, and to Cut:BAND SAW: For best results, use a no-setblade with 24/32 teeth/inch. Make sureFlex Pipe has the open side facing to theright. Align and secure pipe so the cut guidelines up with the Band Saw blade, and SAW: For best results, use a no-set bladewith 24/32 teeth/inch. Make sure Flex Pipe hasthe open side facing to the right.
