1 How to View and Download Flood Insurance Rate Maps 1. Go to the fema . Map Service Center. (I usually Google fema map center to get there). 2. Click on Flood Maps to get all the maps in your community. You can also enter the street address to get directly to the correct map for that property. You will have to navigate to the address. 1. Choose the state, county and community. 2. Click get fema issued Flood Maps . Click the view icon for the Flood Insurance Rate Map Index Zoom in to get the map number: 1. Click the Zoom Win 2. Right click on the map and drag the cursor while holding down the right mouse button. Check the map number and go back to the Community Flood Maps page on the fema Map Services Center window (there will be a separate window for the index and the fema Map Service Center).
