2 A list of selected candidates (Annexure-I) has been compiled from the resultdeclared/published by SSC. Candidates are requested to bring the discrepancies, if any, foundin the list to the notice of directorate by email to A candidate will be allocated to one olthe 23 Postal Circles for appointment as PostalAssistant / Sorting Assistant, list of which is at Annexure-ll. Thereafter, the respective PostalCircle, where a candidate is allocated, will take action for completion of other proceduralrequirement leading to issue of offer of appointment. Allocation of Postal Circle will bemade as per the following criteria:(a) A candidate shall be allocated to a Postal Circle on the basis ofher / his merit (rank) inCHSLE 2015, order of preference (option), and vacancy available in a Postal Circle ather / his turn in the category she / he has been selected.

3 (b) Person with disability (PWD) candidates irrespective of their ranks will be allocatedPostal Circle in the manner indicated at (a) first followed by Ex-serviceman candidates.(c) After allocation of Circles to PWD candidates and Ex-serviceman candidates,remaining candidates will be allocated Postal Circles in the manner mentioned in (a)above.(d) AII such candidates who do not give any order of preference or are not allocated toany of the Postal Circle mentioned in their limited preferences, shall be allocated tonearby Postal Circle from her / his home state subject to availability of vacancy in thePage 1 of 2category she / he has been selected, after allocation of Postal Circles to all othercandidates.

4 FNote: If Home State is not indicated while exercising order of preferenceor the candidate choose not to exercise order of preference, State mentioned in addressof communication in the dossier sent by SSC shall be treated as Home State.]3. The Postal Circle-wise and category-wise vacancies are enclosed at Annexure-ll foryour information. The candidates who will not give their order of preference or indicate theirpreference only for a few Postal Circles will be at a disadvantage, as mentioned at para 2(d)above; therefore, it is advised to give order of preference for all the 23 Postal Since the official communication has not been received from SSC about the status ofyour candidatue, the entire procedure will be based upon the assumption that yournomination will be confirmed by SSC soon.

5 In case, your result / candidature is notconfirmed by SSC you will have no claim over joining as Postal Assistant / SortingAssistant in Department of Posts. Allocation of Postal Circle will be carried out for onlythose candidates whose dossiers will be sent by SSC to Department You are requested to indicate your preference of Postal Circle in Annexure-IV in themanner outlined in the Annexure-lll indicating name and code of Postal Circles.
