Whenmovingthe air conditioner, alwayscall anauthorizedTrane servicerepresentativefordisconnectionand re-installation. Do not insert or placefingersor objectsinto the airdischargearea in the unit. Do not start or stop the air conditionerbyunpluggingthe powercord or turningoff the powerat the electricalbox.
7 Do not cut or damagethe powercord. If the powercord is damagedit shouldonly bereplacedby an authorized Trane servicerepresentative. In the eventof a malfunction(sparks,burningsmell,etc.) immediatelystop the Operation, disconnectthepowercord,and call an authorizedTrane servicerepresentative. Do not operatethe air conditionerswith wet hands. Do not pull on the powercord. Do not drinkany water that is drainedfromthe !Avoid Injury or Damage to theUnit or Other Property Provideoccasionalventilationduringuse. Do notdirectairflowat fireplacesor otherheat relatedsourcesas this couldcauseflare ups or makeunitsrun excessively. Do not placecontainerscontainingwateron unit. Turn off the air conditionerat the powersourcewhenit will not be usedfor an extendedperiodoftime.
8 Periodicallycheck the conditionof the unit'sinstallationbasefor any damage. Do not applyheavypressureto the radiatorfins ofthe units. Operatethe unit with air filtersin place. Do not block or coverthe intakegrille,dischargearea and outletports. Ensurethat any electrical/electronicequipmentisone yard awayfromthe unit. Do not use or storeflammablegasesnear the !Installation Carefullyread the installationsectionbeforebeginning. Follow all manualcontentas shown. Observeall local,state,and nationalelectricalcodes. Use qualified,licensedpersonnelduringinstall ationand setup.
