Applying heat to impellers, propellers, or their retainingdevices can cause trapped liquid to rapidly expand and result in a violent explosion. Thismanual clearly identifies accepted methods for disassembling units. These methods mustbe adhered to. Never apply heat to aid in their removal unless explicitly stated in thismanual. Do not operate the unituntil the problem has been corrected or repaired. Risk of serious personal injury or property damage. Dry running may cause rotating partswithin the pump to seize to non-moving parts.
