The innovative new Iridium IQ, the Smart Fixture, leads the way in optical and aesthetic flexibility with the introduction of a third Slide-N-LockTM scale, a second optional die-cast end cap, and another opportunity to take advantage of the glare-reduction capability of the Eclipse Louver. 2 The new Beveled end cap is available on all three Iridium suspended fixtures as well as the Iridium Perf wall mounted luminaire. The standard Straight end cap will be provided if no end cap is specified. As always, end caps are mechanically attached without any exposed fasteners in order to sustain the sleek aesthetic isolators are excellent tools to aid in increasing optical control in a space. The ability to isolate uplight and downlight, combined with dual level switching, offers a world of possibilities in energy savings and creative scene and zone control for changeable room character and utility. This feature is ideal for training rooms, classrooms and lecture halls where varying light levels may be required to accommodate a variety of tasks. Isolators also offer the perfect solution for creating optimal viewing conditions for multi-media , two or three formed aluminum isolators can be used in the Iridium D/I to efficiently produce the desired distribution of uplight and downlight suitable for the application and the tasks performed in it.

Rather than one optic per configuration, the Iridium D/I Slide-N-LockTM is a one-size-fits-all optic with 8 settings that are factory pre-set at the specified level and, if necessary, can later be easily adjusted in the field. To adjust, simply depress the control notch, then slide-n-lock the optic into the new desired setting.*All distributions based on a 2T8 lampingBeginning at the DL1 setting of 95% downlight, the Slide-N-LockTM can be field adjusted in 5% increments up to the DL8 setting of 60% downlight. Because the optic is field adjustable, zones and scenes within a space become completely flexible and can accommodate any task as the level of optical control one step further, Corelite s Slide-N-LockTM optics revolutionizes the concept of variable uplight and downlight percentages within a direct-indirect luminaire.

5 The addition of the innovative Slide-N-LockTM to either the new Iridium IQ or the Iridium D/I enhances downlight control well beyond the traditional single percentage downlight launch of the new Iridium IQ is also the introduction of a third scale of Slide-N-LockTM that accommodates the isolation of the two outboard lamps only, opening wide a whole new range of opportunity for advanced optical control. When applied in a two lamp fixture, the IQ Slide-N-LockTM performs much like the original version, with optical control from 95% to 60% downlight. However, because the Iridium IQ can be specified with up to 4 lamps, there is now the opportunity not only to increase the overall percentage of uplight by adding a center lamp, but to utilize dual-level switching as well. 7 Smart because it represents a culmination of the most intelligent and innovative features Corelite has to offer, including a third scale of the unique Slide-N-Lock optical system. The IQ comes standard with an open perforated baffle, but also presents a second opportunity to specify the acclaimed, glare-reducing Eclipse louver. Its sleek dual-layered ribbed aluminum runners offer not only a practical appeal, but a look completely unique in the market as well. The IQ can also be specified as a semi-indirect fixture with the addition of a variety of acrylic lenses. Construction: Housing is one piece die-formed cold rolled steel, forming a 9"x2-1/2" architectural profile. Standard 4'-0", 8'-0", and 12'-0" fixture lengths combine for continuous : Reflector pan is painted with a high reflectance white powder coat finish. 10 Constructed of semi-specular aluminum, the standard Cross Blade louver is the versatile and efficient louver option, and is also the preferred louver when used in combination with Slide-N-Lock optics. The unique RPerformance louver has been designed to enhance the refined styling of the luminaire and eliminates high angle glare according to RP-1 guidelines.
