Most of these machines are models not common to tractor models currently and previously imported and marketed by the authorised distributors of these brands in Australia.

5 Therefore, accurate PARTS interpretation and PARTS availability comes into question as these machines were predominantly sold in the domestic Japanese market, not exported. In 1992, Massey Ferguson- ISEKI Australia Limited made a clear statement regarding the ability, or otherwise, of our company to correctly identify and source PARTS suitable for machines that we did not import, and for which we have no liability. With a recent surge in requests for PARTS interpretation and PARTS availability information for these second hand / imported machines, it is an opportune time to clarify our situation.

6 Recent correspondence from ISEKI states We have not exported these models to any other country, we only sell them in Japan. We ( ISEKI ) have a policy that where we have not exported a model we will not export any of the spare PARTS . Also, we are unable to send you PARTS books as they are printed only in Japanese. As a GUIDE , the index of models on the contents page of this publication is a complete list of all models imported by AGCO Australia Limited and its predecessors, Massey Ferguson- ISEKI Australia Limited.

7 Should you have a request for PARTS on a model that is not listed, it is in your best interests to be honest with the customer, if he can supply part numbers for service part and the like and AGCO stock the lines, then they can be ordered, but be aware that any part that is not a stock line will not be returnable and a handling charge will apply to others. Whilst we can understand the frustration experienced by some dealers when pressured by a customer for PARTS assistance for these second hand /imported machines, please be aware that the inability of our company to identify and source these PARTS is totally beyond our control.
