2 Work involves considerable internal and external contacts, difficult non-routine tasks and access to confidential information. Judgment and initiative are exercised frequently in answering verbal and written communications and in interpreting and applying University-wide policies and procedures. Duties of the Job 1. Reviews Workers Compensation forms for accuracy and completeness. 2. Authorizes medical bills for Workers Compensation payment. 3. Communicates verbally and in writing on non-routine matters which involve interpretation of policy. 4.

3 Coordinates projects or departmental activities for which the employee is totally responsible. 5. Represents the department to internal and external individuals and groups, which includes making decisions that affect the department. 6. Schedules and makes arrangements for meeting sand conferences, including scheduling rooms, food service, travel and housing. 7. Explains employee benefits to new staff and assists employees in submission of benefits claims. 8. Maintains a complex system of departmental records and reports. 9.
