Vehicle Utilisation, Maintenance and Tracking Ensure efficient vehicle utilisation, maintenance and tracking Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure that they are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition (license renewals) Maintenance of vehicles: Monthly inspect and arrange for services and repairs.
2 Book vehicle with dealer for region Vehicles effectively and efficiently utilised, maintained and tracked Systems implemented Safety record of drivers Job Description 2 ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS) KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 2. Liaison Maintain contact with the relevant licensing authorities, the police and insurance companies on a range of issues relating to company cars Take relevant action in the event of incidents such as accidents or hijacking: Take statements in conjunction with HR (investigate) Liaise with regional representatives regarding implementation of the system Well maintained and roadworthy fleet 3. Compliance Advise DFA staff on all legal and compliance matters relating to vehicles Attend to the administration of the company's car policy to ensure compliance Fuel card control: Administer fuel cards Identify trends, poor driving behaviour, etc.
3 Pre and post vehicle delivery inspections Soundness of advice given Procedures followed: 100% compliance to policies Staff well-informed 4. Accident & Incident Investigation and reporting Accident and incident reporting Forms filled in correctly and timeously 5. Record Keeping Maintain all necessary records to ensure that vehicles provided by the company comply with legal and business requirements Distribute documentation to the line manager for distribution Control the quality and the accuracy of documents Monthly visits to the Traffic Department to ensure all speeding fines are paid. Submit fines to driver(s). Arrange for payments of fines. Follow up outstanding items Attend to other routines such as arranging courtesy cars.
