1 KANAWHA COUNTY DHHR OFFICE Take I-64 West toward Huntington or East toward Charleston. Get off at Roxalana Road Exit/Dunbar, which is between South Charleston and Institute. Turn North on Roxalana Road, in the direction away from the Dunbar Bridge. Follow Roxalana Road to the end, where there is a stop light across from a convenience store. Turn left at the stop sign and go about a quarter mile, past a one-story red brick building, which is the DHHR OFFICE . Turn right at Woodrums Lane and enter the parking lot. Enter through the front door into the reception area and ask the reception desk for your conference room (either A or B). The address of the DHHR OFFICE is 4190 West Washington Street. However, it s important to note that West Washington Street in Charleston, does not run directly to North Charleston, where the OFFICE is located.
2 It s advisable to follow these directions and go by the interstate and Roxalana Road on the first visit to the OFFICE . ALTERNATE ROUTE Take I-64 West toward Huntington or East toward Charleston Get off at Roxalana Road Exit/Dunbar, which is between South Charleston and Institute. Turn right and cross railroad tracks at light Turn left at light and proceed up Dunbar Avenue running along the river. At the end of Dunbar Avenue, bear left, crossing railroad tracks. Proceed to light and turn left Proceed out Route 62 for approximately 1 mile to Woodrums Lane where you turn right and enter the parking lot. Enter through the front door to the reception area and ask the reception desk for your conference room (Either A or B)
