4 The program is based on a very in-tuitive graphical user interface. The user interface offers two simultaneous Control Regime Enables an easy control over the whole array ofthe sophisticated instrument measuring modes: Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS) Magneticanisotropymea-sured using either the 15-position rotatable design or, in the case of theautomatic Kappabridge Versions (FA,A), using 1-Axis or two-axis (3D) Ro-tator1. AMS can be measured in variable fields and, depending uponthe Kappabridge Model and Version (Table1), at one or three operatingfrequencies;KLY5 Model simultaneously determines bothIn-PhaseandOut-of-Phaseanisotropy tensors. Bulk Susceptibility Volume- orMass-Normalized,In-PhaseandOut-of-Phas emagnetic susceptibility measured in variable driving fields and, depending upon the Kappabridge Model and Version (Table1), at one orthree operating frequencies.
5 Temperature Dependence Magnetic susceptibility measured as a func-tion of temperature in the low or high temperature ranges (Table2).2 Thermomagnetic curves can be measured in various fields and, depend-ingupontheKappabridgeModelandVers ion(Table1), atoneorthreeop-eratingfrequencies; Viewing Regime3 Enables an instant calculation and visualization theresults and basic data acquired data are stored in binary or text files and can be visualized or furtherprocessed usingAGICO data processing computer programsAnisoft,Cureval, orother programs of user s 3D Rotator is an optional accessory to the automatic Kappabridge Kappabridge must be coupled with respective optional Temperature Control Unit(s).3 The program can be used solely as a data viewer, , without any instrument User ManualIntroductionPPPPPPPPPPM odelVersionFAFBABF1 = 976 HzF1 = 976 HzF1 = 976 HzF1 = 976 HzMFK1aF2 = 3904 HzF2 = 3904 HzF3 = 15616 HzF3 = 15616 HzF1 = 976 HzF1 = 976 HzMFK2bF2 = 3904 HzF2 = 3904 HzF3 = 15616 HzF3 = 15616 HzF1 = 1220 HzF1 = 1220 HzKLY5cdaDiscontinued model, in production model, in production since model, in production since model is designed to decompose magnetic susceptibility signal into 1.

For the best functionalityof the program, it is recommended that the default setting of the OS is used ( ,no custom colors, enlarged font sizes, ) InstallationPrior to the installation make sure that no otherAGICO computer program is cur-rently running. The actual installation procedure is very simple and follows theusual steps of the Microsoft Windows software installation. You can navigate a stepforward or backward by clicking onNext >or< Back, start theSafyr7 Setup Wizard(Figure1a). the installation directory (Figure1b). It is recommended to keep thedefault directory (C:\Agico\Safyr7) as pre-set by the installation the folder name in the Start menu (Figure1c). whether you want to create a desktop icon (Figure1d).
