All orders must be returned by Wednesday March 14. If you are able to help out with any home baking such as cupcakes or muffins, please let the SCHOOL know. We will also be having a raffle which will be drawn on the day, so if anyone is able to donate anything towards our raffle, please let the SCHOOL know.

2 Most importantly, don t forget to wear pink! Expression of Interest groundsman We are now in a position to advertise for a groundsman . The successful applicant will work on a casual basis. Duties include (but not limited to) mowing, whipper snipping, gardening and maintenance work. Experience with gardening is preferred. A Blue Card will need to be arranged and paid for by the successful applicant. Applicants are required to send their resume to: and in the subject line type groundsman Application. Applications close Friday March 9 at 9am. Interviews will take place on Monday March 12. The successful applicant would start immediately. Tuckshop Thank-you to all the Mums who have helped with tuckshop so far this term, it certainly has been a great treat. Just a reminder that before you leave, the money must be counted and given to me to be put away for banking. This is not something that can be left until pick up. 3 Our goal is to improve the types of sentences that we are writing; Simple, Compound and Complex, as well as our sentence punctuation. We have made a terrific start to Term 1 with our attendance. 78% of our students have not missed a day this term. Let s keep this up for the rest of the term! KARARA Rural Fire Brigade KARARA Tavern is hosting the KARARA Rural Fire Brigade's monthly fundraiser raffle this Friday (2 March) starting at a later timeslot of 6pm. We have had a busy couple of weeks with support to a police incident, turnout to a local fire, turnout to support a fire near Millmerran and refresher training on incident management. Notable thanks should be recognised to our volunteer fire fighters Geoff Cullen, Terry Reynolds, Luke Clark & Michael Welsh for their time to assist in these incidents.

Ian Clark Around the SCHOOL Last week the boys learnt about the R sound and made robots; Darcy and Cooper with their patterns in Maths; Our technology challenge last week was to make a tower out of spaghetti and didn t it prove challenging! Darcy, Cooper and Brody have been learning about 2D shapes and made some shape pizzas last week which we added to our class shop. Kohan and Alfie busy making their dinosaurs in technology we can t wait to see them!
