Please read these guidelines carefully. Visitors must have previously completed a Visitor Questionnaire (DOC-21AA) and be on inmates approved visiting list prior to scheduling a ZOOM or in-person visit. Please be advised that all in-person visitors will need to be screened before entering the facility.

2 COVID-19 VACCINATIONS: Johnson and Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 vaccines are available for on-site administration to approved adult visitors (18 and older). Vaccinations will be administered at the end of an in-person visit between the hours of 2:30pm 6:00pm. If you are interested in receiving the J&J vaccine, please notify the gatehouse staff upon entrance into the visiting room. Nursing staff will meet with you after your visit has ended to complete required paperwork and administer the vaccine. You will be required to wait 15 minutes before you may leave for observation purposes. NOTE: General Population inmates are allowed up to two (2) visits per week. The scheduled visit week begins Wednesday and ends on Monday. Only one visit will be permitted on the weekend. Please verify with the offender prior to visitation if he has met his limit so that you will lessen your chance for denial.

3 All children must be supervised during the visit. No children s area, toys, books or games will be available during visit. SCHEDULING OF IN PERSON VISITS AND GENERAL GUIDELINES The visiting hours are as follows: o Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2:30 pm - 8:15 pm o Saturday and holidays 8:00 am 1:40 pm o Visits will be scheduled starting at 2:30 pm and there after every fifteen (15) minutes with the last visit being scheduled for 6:15 pm on M, W, TH and F. o Visits will be scheduled starting at 8:00 am and there after every fifteen (15) minutes with the last visit scheduled for 12:40 pm on Saturday and holidays. In-person visits are closed on Sunday and Tuesdays. Visitors can sign -up by utilizing sign Up genius at the following website To find the sign up for KMCI enter the following email address in the Search for a sign -Up box: Visits may be scheduled out for the entire month, not to exceed 2 visits per week.

4 sign up for visits will close 2 days prior to the visit date. No changing of a scheduled visit will be permitted 2 days prior to a scheduled visit. All visitors must be on an inmate approved visitor list. A maximum of six (6) adult visitors will be allowed to visit at one time. Minor children will not count against the six (6) adult visitors. Inmates are allowed one visit per day and only one weekend/holiday visit. Provide all required information on the sign Me Up page or visit may be denied upon arrival. If the visitor does not arrive within 20 minutes of the scheduled time the visit will be cancelled. If the visitor arrives late for the visit but under the 20 minutes you will be permitted the remaining time of scheduled visit. If the inmate fails to report the visit may be terminated. If the inmate reports late for the scheduled visit only the remaining time allowed for the scheduled visit will be permitted.

5 Any cancelled or terminated visits count against the maximum allowed visits. If a visit is scheduled and the inmate goes to Restrictive Housing Unit (RHU), the visit will be allowed. However, if an inmate is in RHU, no visits will be scheduled. Visitors should arrive no more than fifteen (15) minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their visit. o Upon arrival to the INSTITUTION , visitors must report to the visitation building located near the upper parking lot and wait to be called into Gatehouse by staff. o Visitors must complete the Request to Visit Offender Form in visitation building prior to coming into Gatehouse. Per DAI Policy , visiting rules must be followed at all times. Chairs and tables have been strategically placed to maximize capacity. Please do not move them.

6 Conversation during visits must be held to a normal tone of voice to not disturb others. There is no children s area, games, books or toys available. Photos are allowed during your visit. You must bring a completed disbursement to visit. Vending machines are available to purchase food and drinks. No sharing of food or drinks between the inmate and visitors. Food is to be emptied onto the paper plates provided. A brief hug at the beginning and end of visit is allowed. NO KISSING WILL BE ALLOWED. No hand holding. No visitors may sit on the lap of inmate. SCHEDULING OF VIDEO VISITS AND GENERAL GUIDELINES Effective June 1, 2022, the visiting hours shall be as follows: o Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays: 8:00 am 4:00 pm Eligibility is determined by the inmate s current status or disciplinary status restrictions in accordance with WI DOC 303.

If you schedule more than one (1) visit per week or four (4) per month, the additional visits will be deleted. sign up for visits will close 2 days prior to the visit date. If the visit is successfully scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent confirming date, time, meeting ID and passcode.

8 If the visitor fails to log into ZOOM after 10 minutes or cannot log on for the scheduled visit, the visit will not be rescheduled and will count towards inmates allowed visits. All individuals 16 and older that are participating in the ZOOM visit must show identification to the officer when checking in. Visitor attire cannot have any of the following: o Exposed undergarments o Clothing with revealing holes, tears or slits. o Clothing or accessories with obscene or profane writing, images or pictures. o Gang-related clothing, headwear shoes, logos or insignias. o Transparent/translucent (see-through) clothing. Video visiting will be terminated immediately if there is any suspicion of illegal activities or any behavior that would be deemed inappropriate in the visiting room setting, or any inappropriate behavior outlined as unacceptable in accordance to DAI Policy - This includes but is not limited to the following: o Sexual acts or nudity.

9 O Drug and alcohol use during the visit. o Showing of objects identified as a threat (firearms, weapons, knives, etc.). o Inappropriate language. o Inappropriate location of visitor (bar, night club, etc.). o Operating a vehicle during the scheduled visit. SPECIAL INFORMATION Wisconsin State Statute (2) (Delivering Articles to Inmate) prohibits delivery of any article to an inmate of a State CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION or depositing or concealing an article within the State CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION or its boundaries or receiving an article to convey out of the INSTITUTION that is contrary to the rules and regulations and without the knowledge or permission of the Warden. Any person found in violation of this law is subject to imprisonment of not more than three years or a fine not exceeding $ In addition, Wisconsin State Statute (Distribution to Prisoners) states.

10 Any person who violates (1) or (1m) by delivering or possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance to a prisoner within the precincts of any prison, jail, or house of correction, is subject to the applicable fine under State Statute (1) or (1m) or imprisonment of up to twice that authorized by (1) or (1m) or both. KMCI is committed to maintaining a drug-free INSTITUTION . The INSTITUTION will actively investigate and prosecute any individuals bringing drugs into this prison. The INSTITUTION will take all necessary actions to prohibit the entrance of drugs and other contraband. Prosecution of individuals violating the above State Statute will be pursued.
