In year 7 and 8 you will receive 6 periods per fortnight.

2 WILL THE CLASSES BE SET OR MIXED ABILITY? Classes in Science will be set. HOW OFTEN WILL I RECEIVE HOMEWORK? You will receive core homework once per topic. You will also receive revision homework for end of unit tests. HOW OFTEN WILL I BE TESTED? Once per half-term. You will also work on extended projects, which will be assessed. WHAT EXTRA CURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ME? There will be a homework club and a science club. WHAT IS THE PROGRESSION ROUTE FOR THE COURSE IN KS4? In KS4, Science is compulsory. You will achieve 2 GCSEs from the Trilogy AQA COURSE . There will also be the option for some students to study Triple Science (separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE s).
