1 kick A Thon Benefit for Premier Martial Arts Attention: All students and parents We will be holding a kick A Thon for the benefit of the Premier Martial Arts studio which suffered extensive damage as a result of the recent flooding. The repairs to the building will cost approximately $15,000. The kick A Thon will take place on Saturday, May 21 st at 10:00am. If you will not be available on the day of the event to do your kicks, arrangements can be made for you to do them in class. Please encourage your child or children to participate in our fundraiser. Fundraisers are a successful way to teach children how to team together for the good of the community. The attached sheet explains how the kick A Thon will work. Thanks again for your continued co operation and support. How to Participate in the kick A Thon 1.

2 Each student will be given a "pledge sheet." If additional sheets are required, you can pick them up at any time. 2. This sheet is used for registering "Pledgers" for X cents per kick to be done in a 5 minute period. 3. "Pledgers" can be parents, family members, friends, neighbors, businesses, etc. 4. The maximum number of kicks allowed is 300 in 5 minutes. 5. All completed "Pledge sheets" must be returned to the school byThursday, May 19th. 6. All kicks will be done and counted on Saturday, May 21st. kick counters will count the kicks and record the results on the pledge sheet (special arrangements will be made if the student is not available that day). kick A Thon begins at 10:00 am And will be held at West Park (across from Sonic) In the even of inclement weather kick a thon will be held at Premier Martial Arts 7.

3 Following the kick A Thon, the "Pledge sheets" will be returned to the students indicating the actual number of kicks completed. 8. Each student will then take their "Pledge sheet" to each pledger, collect the money and record it by checking it off in the "Collected" column. 9. All money collected should be turned into the school no later than Friday, June 3rd. (Note: Any checks collected should be made out to . Please turn in sheets to Ray : Each child will receive a certificate of participation. The top 3 children (based on total money collected) will win the following prizes: o 1st $150 Wal Mart gift card o 2nd Place $100 retail value from Century Martial Arts catalog*. o 3rd Place $50 retail value from Century Martial Arts Catalog*. The Century catalog contains equipment, uniforms, bags, sparring gear plus much more.)

4 (Prizes will be distributed beginning June 6 th ) participants will be evenly divided into four teams. A team leader or group leader will contact you to see how your progress is doing and to help you in any way they can. We will have a team competition.
