1 Learner Transport Scheme application guide This guide will help you understand how the Learner Transport Scheme system works and how to assign learners to the routes. Here is an overview of the procedure to be followed: 1. Select the grade 2. Select route 3. Select pick up point 4. Assign learners to a route 5. View Summary Information you need to have ready, that will assist you with your online application . List of approved learners List of Routes List of Pick up points INSTRUCTIONS. Detailed instructions are as follows: 1. Select the grade Log in, click Administration tab and at the drop down list select LTS.
2 The sub menu will be displayed and select capture screen option. The system displays a screen with an option to select a grade. Select grade and press proceed. 2. Select route Select route number from the drop down list. 3. Select pick up point Select pick up point from the drop down list. A list of learners from the selected grade and route will be displayed. 4. Assign learners to a route Select check box next to the approved Learner for the selected pick up point. Once all the relevant learners are selected, click submit button to assign and save. NB: Where selected Learner exceed the approved number for the selected route and pick up point, an error message will be displayed.
3 Selected learners will not be assigned to the route. NB: To assign more learners from different grades to various routes & pick up points repeat step 1 to 4. 5. View Summary This functionality enables a user to view a list of all the learners from a particular grade, assigned to a specific route and pick up point. Select summary section command button. Select route number from the drop down. A list of all learners assigned to the selected route per pickup point will be displayed.
