HChildren will discover that one way wecan show love to others is by telling themabout things that will was a powerful Assyrian leader. Inspite of his power and political influence, hehad a flaw. Naaman had a skin disease,probably leprosy. In spite of having everything,he was tormented by the one thing that didnot respect a person s position or wealth orpower. It can also be so in modern life. Peoplein positions of political power and influenceare susceptible to the same diseases as therest of us. The wealthy are susceptible to thesame addictions, the same illnesses, the samerelationship disasters as the poor. This servesas an important reminder that though humanbeings tend toward the egocentric, we are notthe center of the universe.
