1 LEVEL I Training Information Sheet IAW DoDI DoD Antiterrorism Standards, every military Service member, DoD employee, and local national hired by the Department of Defense, regardless of rank, must be made aware of the need to maintain vigilance for possible terrorist actions and employ AT tactics, techniques and procedures, as discussed in DoD and Joint Pub The initial LEVEL I awareness Training will be given in person. This required Training is conducted in the Pentagon Library Conference Center, the first Tuesday of each month from 1200 to 1330. Listed below are the scheduled briefings and conference room number for CY 2007: 01/09 - conference room #7 02/06 - conference room #3 03/06 - conference room #1 04/03 - conference room #3 05/01 - conference room #4 06/05 - conference room #4 07/03 - conference room #2 08/07 - conference room #2 09/04 - conference room #2 10/02 - conference room #2 11/06 - conference room #2 12/04 - conference room #2 One-on-one briefings are also available for senior LEVEL personal; contact Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) at (703) 614-8624 for additional details and scheduling dates and times.
2 PFPA/ATOs will also conduct initial and annual Training in their assigned Districts. A certificate will be issued upon completion. Before traveling overseas, you must also receive a country-specific AOR threat briefing. This briefing can be obtained from a number of sources: - Foreign Clearance Guide at , additional country-specific Information can be obtained from the State Department travel website at - If you have the clearance/access to INTELINK, look under DIA Terrorism Threat at , or you can receive a briefing from the intelligence community/officer. - AFOSI conducts mass briefings for O-5 to GS-14 and below on Tuesdays 1000 1100 and Fridays 1300 1400. In-person briefings are provided for individuals in the grades of O-6 to GS-15 and above, and are also held on Tuesdays 1100 1200 and Fridays 1400 1500. 3 Annual Antiterrorism LEVEL I Awareness Training and required refresher Training prior to overseas travel, can be completed on line; refer to the J-34 Deputy Directorate AT/FP website at Certificates will be issued for verification of completion.
