1 Link-Seal SizingUsing standard pipe size charts with suggested Link-Seal Modular Seals Models incombination with Century-Line Sleeves, WS Steel Sleeves or within specified sizedcast or core bit drilled see page 9 for a description of how we ve updated our charts to reflect a re-evaluation of some sizes in an effort to put more rubber in the hole. Benefits of thesecharges include: Improved engineered fit. Improved vibration dampening. Minimum loads on bolts and pressure plates whithout effecting sealing characteristics. Most sealing pressure/most volume of sealing element in penetration. Curvature of link sized to penetration and for smooth ProcedureLink-Seal Modular Seal Sizing (If your pipe type and size matches with standard pipe charts.)

2 1. From the following nine charts (pages 3, 4 & 5), find the onethat applies to your pipe type and locate correct pipe size(Nominal Diameter & Actual Outside Diameter). Verify that yourpipe matches the actual outside diameter shown on Determine the type of wall opening to be used: Century-Line non- metallic (CS Model Sleeve), WS Steel Sleeve or Cast/CoreDrilled Begin at column heading Pipe Size - Nominal . Read across tothe Sizing section for your sleeve type and wall openingCentury-Line (CS Model Sleeve), WS Steel Sleeve orCast/Core Drilled. The first column identifies the sleeve modelor hole second column identifies the Link-Sealmodular seal and the third column provides the numberof links required for a complete seal Non- metallic Sleeve or WS Steel Sleeve Sizing (If your pipe type and size matches with standard pipe charts.)

When ordering Link-Seal Modular Seals , note sleeve part num-bers in columns CS Model Number (Century-Line ) or WS ModelNumber and indicate sleeve length in :Century-Line sleeves are shipped standard in 16 lengthsand can be field cut to as short as 8 in Hole Forming DiskSizing(If your pipe type and size matches with stan-dard pipe charts.)1.
