7 Angus is our only business, and we have been developing our Angus herd for over 45 years. We are proud of this large and diverse sale offering and truly appreciate your time and effort in studying and/or viewing these Cattle . The level of optimism in beef and Cattle markets today is perhaps unprecedented. All classes of livestock are enjoying high prices and feed is abundant. There are 7 million fewer cows in North America than there were 10 years ago and, even though beef production has become more efficient, Cattle supplies will continue to tighten. Cow-calf producers will be the beneficiaries, and now is a great time to be in the cow-calf growth in popularity of Angus Cattle that we ve witnessed in the past four decades is no surprise to us; we chose this breed because we truly felt Angus were the best all-round breed for commercial cattlemen. We have seen many fads come and go in the Cattle business, and our breeding philosophy is based on long-term experience: acquire the best herd sires available, select for performance traits, growth, and thickness; all the while maintaining structural soundness and strong maternal traits.

8 Like many commercial operations, our 800+ head cow herd is managed in large groups from calving until sale time. Calves are turned out with their mothers in breeding pastures as soon as grass is available; and they are allowed to grow and develop without extra attention until after weaning. We expect consistency and top productivity, just like our bulls are an important investment for any cattlemen purebred or commercial as sires and maternal grandsires contribute three-quarters of a calf s genes. We have a large selection of top quality yearling and two-year old bulls in this sale, offering strong calving ease, performance, and maternal traits. We are confident that you will find the herd sire you re looking for in this sale. These bulls haven t been pampered, and the two-year-olds ran on grass until November 1st. Approximately 95% of our bulls are sold to commercial cattlemen, so don t be afraid to bid on your favorite one sale day.

The yearling heifers are represented by an assortment of sire groups, and whether you are looking for brood cows or show heifers we are confident these female will work in your herd. As in years past, we will be selling groups of quality open commercial heifers, and new this year are a top group of commercial bred heifers.
