Students on this programme willsecure a placement working as a traineePsychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)delivering low Intensity Cognitive behaviouralinterventions Degree summary Trainees on this programme will gain the knowledge necessary forproviding low Intensity Interventions for clients with mild to moderatedepression and anxiety in their primary healthcare work setting, togetherwith the clinical skills essential to assess and engage clients, and todeliver Interventions within a guided self-help UCL programme is run and taught by experienced practitionersin the field, and therefore a balance is achieved between theteaching of the theoretical knowledge needed and the practical skillsnecessary in training as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner(PWP).

3 Your career The Postgraduate Certificate is the formal training required as part of thestudent's employment as an IAPT Psychological Wellbeing PWPs are appointed at band 4 and upon successful completionof the programme will move to being qualified PWPs.
