Integrated modulesallow for perpetual inventory control throughout an unlimited number of links between procurement, production, distribution, inventory, and accounting,integrated with inventory tagging and bar-coding technology, gives the lumberTrack useron-hand, real-time, inventory management. 2012 lumberTrack Navigating lumberTracklumberTrack LT has an easy-to-use, Windows based interface that provides fastaccess to information for sales and operations staff.

Up-to-date information onproducts may be viewed to determine purchasing requirements and sales options let products be viewed by general category, such as Product Type orSpecies, or by one specific product. It allows different types of wood products to betracked, including tagged and untagged products, at multiple mills or reload Inventory is integrated with all other modules.
8 As work orders arecompleted and purchases, sales and shipments are processed, inventory isimmediately updated. Use the following sections to become familiar with the InventoryBrowse, Inventory Adjustments and other aspects of lumberTrack Inventory 2012 Inventory BrowseThe Inventory Browse provides immediate access to up to date inventory viewing on hand amounts, or determining amounts ordered or sold of aparticular product, the information is readily available. The Inventory Browse displaysall products for the product type(s) selected in the Inventory Browse Filter. Note thatthe Inventory Browse now allows for a single or all product types to be displayed inthe Inventory Browse at one time. The main Inventory Browse shows a summary of the integer and decimal totals ofinventory.
9 As products are ordered, received, sold, consumed and produced, theinteger and decimal values in the columns change to reflect the status of eachproduct in the order cycle. Note that a wildcard "*"is allowed for product type,allowing different types to be displayed in the Inventory Browse at one time. If noproduct type is specified then no lookup is available for inventory attributes, productdescriptors or report categories, although the fields are still enabled for selections tobe keyed in. To access the Inventory Browse:1. From the Menu View select Inventory - Inventory Inventory Browse window displays in the Task Click to display inventory using the current filter or - use the Inventory Browse Filter to locate the records to Inventory Browse displays the selected grid displays products for each location, the attributes for each product aswell as the value for each of the inventory buckets (On Hand, Sold, Avail Ship,Avail Sale, Reserved, Picked, Inbound and Ordered amounts, etc).

For more informationon grouping and totalling columns, please refer to lumberTrack the scroll bars in the Inventory Browse to display additional inventory items,if applicable. For additional information on how the amounts of items change asorders are created, completed and shipped, please refer to Inventory Update HistoryThe Onhand Update History tab displays an audit trail of updates to on-handinventory for the selected product type. If the Inventory Browse is summarized onany columns, the Onhand Update History tab displays updates for all matchinginventory inventory updates resulting from invoice adjustments, the on hand update historydisplays the invoice adjustment number in the "Doc Num" column.
