Remove all laitance, form release, curing compounds, oil, grease and other surface contaminants. Diamond grind, track or light shot-blast concrete floors to remove laitance and provide suitable profile. Remove all dust by vacuum cleaning. Fill any large cracks or voids using Luxepoxy Filler.

5 MIXING Mix each can thoroughly using a power mixer until the contents are uniform. Ensure bases have been tinted to the correct colour before use. Dulux ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE APPLICATION OF INCORRECT COLOUR. Mix the contents of both packs together thoroughly with a power mixer and let stand for 10 minutes. Box all containers before use to ensure colour consistency. APPLICATION STIR IN AGGREGATE 1. Once the paint has been correctly mixed and thinned, add the Stir-In AGGREGATE gradually using a power mixer and continue stirring until the Stir-In AGGREGATE is uniformly distributed through the paint (typically 5 minutes) 2. Pour mixed material into roller tray and apply as per the relevant LUXAFLOOR product data sheet 3.

6 Periodically hand-stir the paint in the roller tray and in the paint can to prevent settling of the Stir-In AGGREGATE BROADCAST AGGREGATE 1. Apply the LUXAFLOOR Product as per the instructions on the relevant data sheet. 2. Whilst the LUXAFLOOR Product is still wet, scatter the Broadcast AGGREGATE evenly at a rate of 50g/m2 3. Lightly back-roll the surface to improve contact of the Broadcast AGGREGATE with the wet LUXAFLOOR Product 4. When dry, lightly sweep the surface to remove any loose Broadcast AGGREGATE 5. Apply the final coat of LUXAFLOOR coating system apply as per the LUXAFLOOR product data sheet; do not exceed the recommended spreading rate as this will bury the AGGREGATE and reduce slip resistance PRECAUTIONS This is an industrial product designed for use by experienced Protective Coating applicators.

7 Where conditions may require variation from the recommendations on this Product Data Sheet contact your nearest Dulux representative for advice prior to painting. Do not apply in conditions outside the parameters stated in this document without the express written consent of Dulux Australia. To meet the required slip rating it is vital that the AGGREGATE is evenly distributed in the finished coating system. Overcoating the applied AGGREGATE with another coating layer will affect the slip rating. For situations requiring greater levels of slip resistance a coarser AGGREGATE should be selected. For further advice on coarser aggregates and methods of application contact your Dulux Representative.

8 Appearance and performance of the finished coating is dependent on application technique and the characteristics of the specific surface being coated. It is therefore the applicator s responsibility to verify the suitability of the applied coating for the known service requirements. Independent on-site testing of the slip resistance may be required. As with any floor coating system, it is recommended that, before commencing a job, a small area is prepared and the coating applied to establish that the required appearance and performance is achievable. CLEAN UP Clean all equipment according to the instructions on the relevant LUXAFLOOR product data sheet. OVERCOATING Remove oil, grease, dirt and other surface contaminants.

9 Dulux recommends that surfaces be degreased with Gamlen CA No. 1 (a free-rinsing, alkaline detergent) according to the manufacturer s written instructions and all safety Test adhesion of existing coating by standard cross hatch adhesion test. If the coating fails, remove it. High-pressure water wash at to MPa (1,200-1, ) to remove chalk and dust. Abrade to remove gloss and provide a key for the new coating. Epoxies must be abraded if recoated outside the recoat window. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Read Data Sheet, SAFETY DATA SHEET and any precautions on container labels. SAFETY DATA SHEET is available from Customer Service (132377) or STORAGE Store in a cool dry place. Keep containers closed at all times.

HANDLING As with any chemical, ingestion, inhalation and prolonged or repeated skin contact should be avoided by good occupational work practice. Eye protection approved to AS1337 should be worn where there is a risk of splashes entering the eyes. Always wash hands before smoking, eating, drinking or using the toilet. USING Use with good ventilation and avoid inhalation of spray mists and fumes. If risk of inhalation of spray mists exists, wear combined organic vapour/particulate respirator. When spraying, users must comply with their respective State Spray Painting Regulations. FLAMMABILITY This product is combustible.
