Computer Science I 1 Networking Age limit (As on Nov Minimum Qualification: 2021) Minimum Age - 18 years, Maximum Age- Unreserved category-27yrs OBC - 30yrs, SC/ST -32yrs, PWD-37yrs (Persons with Disability) A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government /by a University I by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma/ Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/she may hold a diploma in Note:-1) For the above mentioned vacancies, reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories will be applicable as per provisions of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rules, Central Apprentice Rules 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2015 & 2019.

3 Part 1: Important instructions: 1. Duration of the training will be strictly in accordance with Apprenticeship Rule and its amendments from time to time. 2. Registration of candidates on is mandatory. 3. number is to be verified at the time of selections /Document Verification. 4. For ' apprentice trainees, candidate who have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination are not eligible to apply 5. Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply. 6. OBC certificate whose validity has expired would not be accepted for granting concession. 7. Applications of those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared/ available as on advt date will not be considered for training. Provisional Degree certificates of qualifying exam would however be acceptable during the time of joining, but final degree certificates shall have to be submitted as & when received. 8. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.

4 9. Selection of candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS category would be as per Apprenticeship rules. 10. PWD candidates are eligible only for the designate,<;! trades as per apprenticeship rules. 11. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are not eligible to apply. 12. Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply. 13. No TA/DA shall be given to the candidates for interview/ document verification/ joining CAIR. 14. The apprentices will not be provided any quarters/ hostel accommodation by this establishment at the time of interview and also during the training period. Part 2: Stipend: Candidates finally selected for the apprenticeship training would be eligible for stipend as given below as per Govt. of India rules: B. E/B. T ech/Eqvt. Diploma : Rs 9000/-per month : Rs 8000/-per month Part 3: Medical Fitness: The candidate should possess satisfactory health.

5 Candidates finally selected will have to produce fitness Certificate as per CAIR specified format during joining issued by authorized Medical officer of any Govt Hospital. Certificate issued by ESIC hospitals will not be accepted. Final selection of the candidate depends upon his/her fulfilling health standards as prescribed in Apprentice Act, 1961 and apprentice Rule 1992 as amended from time to time. Part 4: Selection process: 1. Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B . ); Diploma Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. 2. Details of short listed will be published in DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check on website for updates. If possible will be intimated by Mail ID provided in the bio-data. / Part 5: How to Apply: 1. Candidates should first register themselves in the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) portal.

Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list). 4. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification. 5. Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at CAIR, Bengaluru. 6. Online Applications after the last date would accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted. Part 6: General Instructions: 1. It should be noted that the selection and training of apprentices are strictly in compliance with the provisions of Apprentice Act 1961 and its amendments and NO EMPLOYMENT IS GUARANTEED TO THE APPRENTICES ON COMPLETION OF THEIR TRAINING.

7 2. Candidates before filling the application form shall ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for the apprenticeship training. If at any stage of selection or even after selection and joining or during training, it comes to notice that the candidate /trainee does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or the facts stated are not true or the documents enclosed by the applicant are false/forged, the candidature /appointment /joining of such individual shall be withdrawn immediately without assigning any reason. 3.
