2 Theyare employed in electronic temperature control systems usinghot and/or cold water as controlled A and C Actuators are suitable for Honeywell ExcelSeries controllers as well as for Honeywell individual roomtemperature controllers. These controllers track the precisevalve position by counting the number of individual controlpulses which move the valve from one position to this reason, the Actuators do not need endswitches or afeedback potentiometer. The absence of these mechanicalcomponents ensures longtime A and M7410 C Actuators are also compatible withany controller providing intelligent position control and havinga built-in shut-off M7410 E actuator is fully compatible with all controllersproviding or output signals. A microprocessor-based high-performance positioner guarantees accuratecontrol. Due to an automatic synchronization function theclose-off point is self-adjusting. Based on a running time of150 s, valve positioning and flow adjustment is very M7410 E also has no mechanical feedback potentiome-ter or mechanical endswitchesM7410 Series Actuators are well suited for applications wherespace is limited and minimum power consumption is Actuators are both attractive and robust in E additional features Microprocessor based positioner ensures precisestem positioning Easy-to-operate direct /reverse acting switch Simple input signal override ( for frost-protectionfunction)PRODUCT DATAM7410(EN0H-0218GE25 R0501)52 Honeywell AG All rights reservedSpecificationsTypeM7410 AM7410 CM7410 EControl typefloating (3-pt)floating (3-pt)modulatingInput voltage24 Vac; +10%.

4 A magneticclutch limits the torque of the gear assembly and the drivingforce of the Actuators . The Actuators are fixed to the valvebody by means of a coupling ring requiring no tools formounting. The Actuators are maintenance-free and suppliedcompletely with a ready-to-wire connecting cableM7410 E only: A microprocessor-based high-performancepositioner guarantees accurate control. The close-off positionis self-adjusting by means of an automatic synchornizationfunction. Synchronization is carried out when power isswitched on and each time the stem reaches 0% or 100% ofits travel. As long as the synchronization is active the inputsignal is ignored!Mounting positionThe actuator may only be mounted beside or above thevalve. Adjust the valve in the right position before mountingthe 3 Mounting positionsMountingBefore the actuator is fixed to the valve, the protection capmust be removed (Fig. 4). Make sure that the actuator is inthe retract position (factory supplied position) before fixing theactuator to the valve 4 Remove protection capThe actuator must be mounted by hand.

Connection of input switchCommissioning adviceA functional check of the M7410 A and C Actuators can becarried out by changing the controller setpoint by 5 C or more( M7410 A and C) or by changing the Y input signal( M7410 E). The movement of the actuator stem (Fig. 9) indi-cates whether the valve is opening or mmFig. 9. Movement of actuator stem
