2 In addition, until January 1, 2018, your 2017 benefits will continue to be supported as they are today. You ll continue to use your current Mercer Marketplace 365/Discovery benefits Card, the Your benefits mobile app and submit manual claims as you have been to Mercer Marketplace 365/Discovery benefits . Expenses incurred during 2017 should be submitted to Mercer Marketplace 365/Discovery benefits for processing. Review the TRI-AD Transition FAQ, available on , for benefit specific transition information. What s changing? Since the new vendor, TRI-AD, is contracted by Mercer Marketplace 365, you will be issued a new Mercer Marketplace 365 benefits Card. You ll have access to the Mercer Marketplace 365/TRI-AD online portal and mobile app to access and manage your 2018 accounts. Similar to Discovery benefits , TRI-AD will administer your accounts under the Mercer Marketplace 365 brand.

3 You ll submit 2018 claims to Mercer Marketplace 365/TRI-AD. When will this change be effective? The change is effective January 1, 2018. Once your 2018 elections are processed you ll receive information on how to submit 2018 claims to Mercer Marketplace 365/TRI-AD for reimbursement. You ll use your new Mercer Marketplace 365 benefits Card for expenses you incur beginning January 1, 2018. Where can I learn more about the Mercer Marketplace 365/TRI-AD transition and benefits ? During the enrollment process you ll have the opportunity to access additional information about these benefits on the Mercer Marketplace 365 enrollment portal. 4 Do I need to take any action? The type of account you currently have and how you want to manage your accounts will determine whether you need to take action. You should submit 2017 claims timely for all accounts. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): FSAs are use it or lose it accounts. You must submit claims incurred in 2017 no later than March 31, 2018. FSA funds remaining in the account will be forfeited. In order to participate in an FSA in 2018, you must log on to Mercer Marketplace 365 and make an election during Open Enrollment, which is November 1st through November 16th. Health Savings Account (HSA): HSAs are individually owned savings accounts. You may choose to keep your account with Discovery benefits (DBI) or roll your balance over to TRI-AD. If you keep your account open with DBI, you ll begin to incur a $3 per month fee beginning February 1st.

5 If you choose to roll over your HSA funds to TRI-AD, you must elect to contribute to an HSA for 2018 on the Mercer Marketplace 365 enrollment site. You ll need to complete a form with DBI to authorize the roll over. Be sure to verify that the last 2017 contribution is posted to your DBI account before requesting the roll over. commuter (Transit and Parking): commuter funds remaining in 2017 automatically roll over to the commuter accounts under TRI-AD. Roll over funds will be available to you by March 1st. You may submit 2017 claims to DBI through January 31st. After January 31st, you may submit 2017 claims to TRI-AD. You do not need to make a commuter account election under TRI-AD if you have a 2017 roll over balance, an account will be opened on your behalf to house the roll over balance.
