If you are unable to qualify on the Class 1 road test during this transition period and maximum number of attempts, you will be required to complete s Class 1 melt course before proceeding further. If you held a valid Class 1 learner driver s licence on March 31, 2021, but it expires before October 18, 2021, you may re-qualify for a Class 1 learner driver s licence before October 18, 2021, and providing you have completed at least one Class 1 road test between March 31, 2021 and before October 18, 2021, you will be eligible to take up to two more Class 1 road tests between October 18, 2021 and January 18, 2022. If you are unable to qualify on the Class 1 road test during this transition period and maximum number of attempts, you will be required to complete s Class 1 melt course before proceeding further.
