Getting ready to use LG HomeChat Please check if the LINE application is installed on your mobile device, and if not, search and install 'LINE' from your application market(Google Play Store, Apple App Store). Additional data charges may occur if installed over 3G/4G. Warning Installing LINE Adding LG HomeChat as a friend on LINE Launch LINE and tap 'More > Official Accounts' button. Find 'LG HomeChat' from the list or search for 'LG HomeChat' through the search function and select it. Add 'LG HomeChat' as friend, and you are ready to chat with LG HomeChat.

5 Connecting Washer to HomeChat 4 5 2. Getting ready to use LG HomeChat To control your products through HomeChat, you need to first register your product. Enter Connect for the Connect My product link. Tap the Washer Icon from the product icons available for HomeChat connection. Not registered to thinq ? Product not registered? Please register by following the instructions provided by LG thinq . If you do not have a LG Account, please register by tapping the Sign Up button on the bottom of the page. [Register Product ( thinq )] Tap the Settings button on the Washer LCD screen. Tap the Wi-Fi button on the Settings screen. Tap the Wi-Fi on/off button. The Wi-Fi is turned on when a check is displayed on the box.

6 Select your network from the list of available networks. If necessary, enter your wireless password. LG Smart thinq is a service that manages the appliances in your home. You can remotely control your Washer after registering the thinq ID through the display found on front of the product. Follow the steps below to register your product. If the Washer is already connected to Wi-Fi then skip to step 2. 6 2. Getting ready to use LG HomeChat Step 1. Setting Wireless Network for Washer Wi-Fi setting is complete. Tap the Product Registration button and proceed to step 2. 7 2. Getting ready to use LG HomeChat Step 2. User Registration for Washer Tap the Settings button on the Washer LCD screen.

7 Tap the Product Registration menu from the settings page. Tap the OK button after entering your thinq (LG Account) ID and password. * Tap the link below if you are not registered to thinq . When the completion notification appears, the registration is complete and your Washer is registered to thinq . Go back to the messenger and connect to HomeChat. Connection successfully completed! Tap Go back to Chatroom and chat to your products. thinq Registered and Product Connected to App! 2. Getting ready to use LG HomeChat 8 If you have registered to thinq and your product is connected, insert LG Account ID and Password and tap Connect to HomeChat. Products with Available displayed on the right is available for HomeChat service.

8 Select a product you wish to connect to HomeChat, and tap Next . 3. Using LG HomeChat Washer Status 9 Remote Start needs to be set on your Washer in order for you to remotely control your Washer with HomeChat. Tap the Remote Start button in the home screen on the Washer display. Tap Yes to set Remote Start. The Washer lid will lock and the power will not automatically turn OFF. Using LG HomeChat Enter Washer Quick button to active the quick button function. You can select functions by tapping on the buttons or by entering the key words.

9 3. Using LG HomeChat Have you ever had your laundry smell because you forgot about it while you were away? You can now remotely control the Washer while you are away with HomeChat. Start Washing 11 Enter " Washer start washing" or "Do laundry, Washer " for the Washer to detect the amount of laundry and start washing accordingly. Only Cottom/Normal cycle is available on HomeChat. Use the App to use other cycles. User Tip Enter Stop Washing to stop the washing cycle. Using LG HomeChat HomeChat will send you notification when washing is complete or if an error is detected.

10 [ Installing LG Smart Laundry App ] Run the app once installation is complete. Detailed Washer functions can be used once you log in using your thinq ID and password. 13 3. Using LG HomeChat Install the LG Smart Laundry App on your mobile device and connect your dryer to thinq to control your products through HomeChat. If the app is not already installed, search and install LG Smart Laundry from your app market (Google Play Store, Apple App Store). User Tip Additional data charges may occur if installed over 3G/4G. /line/201 Set Washer timer so that the laundry is done right when you get home. Use HomeChat to check the washing status and also to change washing cycle/options. Enter "Delay Wash" or "Check Delay Wash timer" to check Delay Wash Status.
