Thank you Father Merrill and the entire Hispanic community for the very generous gift of $1,539 to go toward the very badly need Toyota truck in the Dominican Republic.

8 Brother Henry and five other Little Brothers of St. Therese walk 10-20 miles eve-ry day to minister to the Batay communities in the southern part of the DR. This is like walking from Huntsville to Hazel Green and back. The Batay are disenfranchised Haitians who have no way to go back to Haiti and their children cannot be educated in the DR because they are not citizens. With this truck the brothers could do so much more. The truck cost $30K, they have $15K and you have helped them get closer to the goal. I believe your gift was given in the same spirit of the poor widow s contribution in Mark 12:42-22. From the bottom of my heart I thank you. Bob McCoy-HSHM Team Lead The Nursery will be closed Holy Thursday- March 29 through Easter Sunday-April 1. Missing: A crown of thorns that was borrowed for the production of His Last Days has gone missing. It was in a 10 x 10 x 4 box, had Julie Kellogg s name written on it, and was last seen in the Church kitchen.
