Use our Martin-Till Row Cleaners to remove excess residue and clods from the row without furrowing or slabbing and "eaking the fertilizer in soil, not on trash or planter. Use our Martin Unit-Mounted Fertilizer Openers to place liquid fertilizer very precisely beside the the seed disks lift part of the sidewall. Use our Reduced Inner Diameter Gauge Tires to open the seed trench with a minimum amount of sidewall without surface compaction. After the seed is in the furrow, use our Martin Spading-Closing Wheels to move the soil toward the seed at seeding depth while lifting and fracturing the row and seal air pockets. Finally, use our Twisted Drag Chain to level and lightly !rm the simple planter attachments are making it possible for more and more farmers to plant into higher levels of residue. Eliminating furrows is the key to preventing erosion in the row on slopes and the ponding of water over the row in level areas. 10 E Martin Narrow Row Cleaner Model WA1320N is designed to clean residue from the vital seed trench area with less total disturbance than regular models. Two wheels are used to insure that residue is removed from the row center and not just dragged across the row as may occur with single wheel models. !is model is recommended for 20" planters that have all units on one bar operating in moderate residue.
